Frequent power cuts make life difficult for Karimganj citizens

Karimganj : Erratic power supply amid the sweltering heat over the past few days in Karimganj has made life difficult for local residents. According to locals of this town, power cuts have become a daily affairs these days. Citizens are having a tough time because of that while the scorching heat has furthered the problems.

On monday, a member of an organisation Biswadeep Das met the assistant general manger of the Karimganj electricity department and sought necessary action so that power supply remains uninterrupted.

Karimganj dist. Congress committee’s Gen. Secy. Subrata Deb took a swipe at the BJP on the matter saying the BJP had made promises about providing uninterrupted power supply across the state, but the reality is different. He urged the authorities concerned to take the matter seriously and take appropriate steps in this regard.
