Ex-MLA Mission Ranjan Das inspects industrial park’s work in Karimganj

Karimganj : ASTC President Mission Ranjan Das conducted an inspection of the ongoing construction work of an industrial park in Maizgram in Karimganj district on Thursday.

Maizgram falls under Karimganj North assembly constituency, about 10 km from Karimganj town.

On Thursday morning, Mission Ranjan Das along with some officials of the AIDC and relevant departments visited Maizgram and inspected the work of the industrial park which is being built on a site spread over 32 bighas. Post inspection, Das spoke to correspondent and said the work was being carried out at a rapid pace. The land will be flattened and then walls will be constructed in the first phase following which the other works will be done, he said.

He said the AIDC would provide land to local businessmen so that they can stock up their commodities here and deliver to various places. The businessmen have to submit security money to get the land, he said. Karimganj North Mandal BJP president Paplu Deb. Bhallab Bhattacharjee were also present.
