Former MP Radheshyam Biswas joins Trinamool Congress

Silchar : Karimganj former MP Radheshyam Biswas (AIUDF), on Monday, joined the Trinamool Congress in Silchar in the presence of TMC leader Sushmita Dev. As the Parliamentary elections loom closer, a wave of political defections is sweeping through the country. It seems that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s party has emerged as one of the preferred choices for many. It may be mentioned here that Sushmita Dev, a prominent former Congress leader, also joined the party long ago. Radheshyam Biswas, echoing the sentiment, declared his unconditional allegiance to the Trinamool Congress, citing a dedication to championing the cause of marginalised communities. He emphasised his role as an organiser within the party, pledging to spearhead organisational task and bolster efforts aimed at advancing public interest.
