MLA Bijoy Malakar lays foundation stone for Road in Ratabari

Ramkrishnanagar : BJP MLA Bijoy Malakar laid the foundation stone for the construction of a road from West Krishnanagar to Bishnupur under Ratabari assembly constituency in Karimganj district on Thursday.

A program was organised on the occasion on the day. Speaking at the event, MLA Bijoy Malakar said the BJP government is committed to talking the state towards the path of progress and development. It is only because of the tireless effort of the government that roads are being constructed in the remotest places and connectivity is being improved in places like Ratabari, MLA Malakar said.

He said the work of the road will be done in phases and hoped the project will be completed soon. Coming down heavily in the Congress, the MLA said the Congress party never cared about developing connectivity for which the people of Ratabari assembly constituency had to suffer for decades. “Good days” arrived after lotus bloomed in Delhi and Dishpur, the leguslator said.
