Probir Modak develops CAREER STUDY, free of cost online education platform

Probir Modak, a student from the Economics Department of Assam University, developed a free-of-cost online education platform named “Career Study: The Learning App”. It is an e-learning platform and is presently available to undergraduate and postgraduate students of Assam University and its affiliated colleges. The e-learning app has facilities like a syllabus, previous year question papers, semester-wise notes, regular job updates, news, current affairs, etc.

While discussing the concept of creating this online educational platform, Probir said he encountered numerous difficulties at his graduation level. After discussing his concerns with his friends and learning that they were having the same issues, he began to gather study materials. In the year 2022, he created the platform, but due to flooding, much of the data he had collected was damaged, making it impossible for him to launch it. Finally, he formed this platform on December 12, 2022. Additionally, he posted the syllabus, some of the semester’s study materials, and the previous year’s question papers. He is compiling all the materials and uploading them one by one every day.

Probir added that he is from Silchar city and is presently doing a master’s degree from Assam University-Silchar in Economics. Also, he added that within 6 months, he helped more than 5000 students, and only the sharing process will help reach more students, and they will get the source, and the platform is free of charge. And Probir Modak is the founder and CEO of Career Study, the learning app.

Moreover, Career Study is a government-registered company; it is registered under the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (regd. UAM number: AS-05-0001359).
