Tragic Accident at Silchar Railway Station: One Person Killed

Silchar, June 15, 2024 – A tragic accident occurred today at the Silchar Railway Station, leaving one person dead. The incident took place on the overbridge track, where a local man was struck by a passing train engine.Eyewitnesses report that the individual, whose identity has not yet been confirmed, was on the track when the engine approached. Despite the driver’s efforts to stop, the engine could not avoid hitting the man. Emergency services were immediately called to the scene, but the victim was pronounced dead on arrival.
