Eid-ul-fitr : BSF, BGB personnel distributes sweets

Karimganj : BSF & BGB personnel celebrated Eid-ul-fitr by distributing sweets among each other at the Indo-Bangla border adjoining Karimganj district on Friday.

Both the countries security official distributed sweets & exchanged pleasantries at the international border area on Friday evening.

Sharing their reactions, BSF jawans said distributing sweets among each other during special occasions has been a tradition for several years. Efforts are on to maintain peace and brotherhood among each other and hopefully, the bond between the two nations will become stronger in the days to come, the BSF jawans said.

BGB personnel said they distributed sweets among each other and experienced a good time like they have during special occasions. “We wish a very happy Eid to everyone,” the BGB personnel said.
