Cachar Police seizes 1.5 Lakh Yaba tablets in Silchar; 1 arrested

Silchar : In an effort to combat the drug menace, Cachar Police seized around 1.5 lakh Yaba tablets in Silchar, following the interception of a vehicle by the Cachar Police on Thursday. The police have also arrested one person in connection with the case.

The incident came to light when the Cachar Police intercepted a vehicle in Silchar and found 15 packets of Yaba tablets, which amounted to approximately 1.5 lakh tablets. The police arrested one person who was involved in the matter and seized the contraband. The accused is currently in police custody and is being questioned by the authorities.
