Three child labourers rescued from karimganj shops

Karimganj : Three child labourers were rescued from different shops of karimganj district’s Kanishail market on Thursday.

According to sources, the child labourers were rescued from some shops in Kanishail market, around 5km from Karimganj town, during an operation carried out by police in association with various organisations on Thursday. The rescued kids were handed over to the child welfare department. Legal action will be taken against the people who employed the child labourers, the sources said.
