Youth’s body found inside Nilambazar hospital toilet

Nilambazar : The dead body of a youth was recovered from a toilet of Nilambazar primary health centre in Karimganj district on Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Sonu Uddin (28), who hailed from Farampasha, Nilmbazar.

As per reports, some cleaners saw Sonu’s body lying on the floor of a toilet of Nilambazar PHC on Wednesday morning after which they informed about it to the hospital authorities. The matter was informed to the police after which a team of police reached the spot and sent the body to Karimganj civil hospital for post-mortem after a preliminary investigation.

Small containers filled with suspected drugs, syringes and a mobile phone was recovered by the police from near the dead body. An investigation is
underway regarding the matter.
